How hardcore plays

Quests

58 quests pay out gear and XP. Starter quests get you on your feet early in the wipe; dailies reset every day. Type /quests in game to open them.

Starter quests

  • Lumberjack

    Gather 10,000 wood

    Reward: Chainsaw

  • Stonecutter

    Gather 10,000 stone

    Reward: Jackhammer

  • Place a TC

    Claim your land with a tool cupboard

    Reward: Revolver and ammo

  • Craft a Compass

    Craft your way out of the fog

    Reward: Totem of Undying

  • Rad Storm Ready

    Upgrade your base

    Reward: Hazmat suit

  • Quarries Aren’t Easy

    Kill 4 quarry heavies

    Reward: SMG, ammo and diesel

Plus 13 farming quests for taking cuttings from plants with perfect genes, each worth fertilizer and 250 XP.

Daily quests

  • Zombie hunts

    Kill 50 or 150 zombies in one biome: arctic, arid, jungle, temperate or tundra

    Reward: Sulfur, ore, wood and ammo

  • Challenge Accepted

    Kill 50 or 150 heavies

    Reward: Minigun, then an HMLMG

  • Boss Killer

    Take down bosses

    Reward: Rocket launcher and a supply signal

  • Raider

    Clear 3 raid bases, from Easy up to Nightmare

    Reward: 1,000 to 5,000 XP

  • Helicopter Hunter

    Destroy easy, medium or hard helis

    Reward: XP and a Totem of Undying

  • Event dailies

    Finish Convoy, Caravan, Sputnik, Sat Dish, Arctic Base or Air Event

    Reward: 150 XP each

Plus monument, tunnel and underwater lab hunts, and one that asks you to recycle an M249. For a lump of coal.

Events

18 custom events keep the map busy, from roadside convoys to a storm that covers the whole map.

Map-wide

Radiation Storm

Radiation covers the entire map. You need 20 radiation protection to survive outdoors. Indoors, only an HQM base gives full protection.

Bases & raids

  • Raidable Bases

    NPC bases spawn around the map in five difficulties, from Easy to Nightmare. Buy your own with /buyraid.

  • Abandoned Bases

    Player bases that have been offline for 72 hours become raidable.

  • Random Raids

    Kill NPCs or raid bases and you might draw NPC raiders back to your door.

  • Heli Signals

    Call in a patrol helicopter to attack your base.

On the move

  • Convoy

    Vehicles and NPCs patrol the roads. Stop them and take what they’re hauling.

  • Caravan

    Stop the caravan carrying valuable loot.

  • Armored Train

    Attack a train guarded by turrets, SAMs and NPCs.

  • Bosses

    Angry, tougher-than-usual NPCs roam a random biome.

  • Monument Bradleys

    Bradley APCs guard monuments across the map.

Monument takeovers

  • Arctic Base

    Find the code, then rescue the scientist and pilot to unlock the loot.

  • Sat Dish

    Stop the zombie extraction.

  • Airfield

    Strong NPCs, a Bradley and a patrol heli guard the crates.

  • Oil Rig

    Bradleys, turrets and more make the rigs much harder to take.

  • Cargo Ship

    Heavy scientists guard the ship and respawn every time a hackable crate spawns.

  • Air Event

    Take over a cargo ship floating in the sky.

Crash sites

  • Plane Crash

    Fight the NPCs guarding a crashed cargo plane’s loot.

  • Sputnik

    Loot the crashed satellites before someone else does.

Chat commands

Type these in chat. Click a command to copy it.

Info & settings

Open the info panel. Everything else is reachable from here.
Open the quests menu.
Show the bounty leaderboard.
Show how many players are online.
How to delete your blueprints.
Turn XP chat messages on or off.
Turn death-note chat messages on or off.

Your base

Remove one of your own entities.
Let everyone use or loot the entity you’re looking at.
Stop sharing the entity you’re looking at.
Share the entity with one player.
Stop sharing the entity with one player.
See who the entity is shared with.
Put an image from a link on the sign you’re looking at.
Put text on the sign you’re looking at.
Skin items. Costs scrap.
Skin deployables. Costs scrap.
Let your hammer pick up custom vehicles.

Raids

Buy a raidable base to attack.
Despawn the raid base you bought. No refund.
How to call NPC raiders on your own base.
Pay scrap to stop random raiders attacking your base.

Farming & market

Open the market to buy nature items.
Pick up the nature entity you’re looking at.

Clans & helis

List the clan commands.
Retire every heli you and your clan called. No refund.

Server rules

These apply on TLOR Premium Hardcore on top of the community rules.

  1. 1Respect other players.
  2. 2No harassment, racism or hate speech of any kind.
  3. 3No pornography, or violent or disturbing links, pictures or videos.
  4. 4Walling off monuments is not allowed.
  5. 5If you wipe your blueprints, that can’t be undone.
  6. 6Twig can be destroyed, as long as the base owner isn’t actively building their base.
  7. 7All players must log in to the server within 72 hours, otherwise their base becomes raidable.
  8. 8Trespass at your own risk. Traps can kill you.
  9. 9Spamming TCs is not allowed. They will be removed and the resources will not be refunded.
  10. 10If a TC isn’t built on within 24 hours, it will be removed.
  11. 11Steal at your own risk. If you’re caught and there’s proof, you may be banned.
  12. 12Lock your TC, boxes, vehicles and so on. Place shotgun traps, as they can kill those who trespass.
  13. 13All shotgun traps and flame traps must be fully enclosed by walls or inside your base, as they can damage other players.
  14. 14Please keep base and farm sizes reasonable so others can enjoy the server.
  15. 15Any raid base built before the last 48 hours of the wipe will be deleted without refund.
  16. 16Loot reimbursement: admins can’t restore loot lost to normal in-game deaths. That includes starvation, freezing, overstaying on the cargo ship, zombies and similar in-game hazards. Loot requests are only considered if a map or plugin bug was the cause, meaning something genuinely outside your control.
  17. 17No whining. This is a hardcore server!
